When we first received a copy of Slade's latest project "This Time It's Personal" we didn't know what to expect from the Washington, DC artist. We needed to take a listen a few times to full realize that Slade likes to make music that's fun, energetic and sometimes extremely emotional. The lyrical content is not advanced by any means, but is very honest. We usually take a listen to an album once and give a review, I had to listen three times and at first I wasn't 100% sold, but after the third listen I realized that it grows on you in a somewhat mysterious way. I was able to paint a picture inside my mind about the struggle Slade portrays in the track "The Way I'm Feeling". Slade captivated the audience at the world famous
