We just received the latest album from Tam titled "YEG To The World". Tam Nsaliwa is was born in Africa, raised in Canada and living in Turkey. Tam was a member of Canada's National Soccer Team and has played for two World Cup Champions. Kicking soccer balls isn't his only talent, Tam is also an aspiring hip hop artist. He has worked alongside the likes of DJ Green Lantern and has now teamed up with Snaz who is known for his work with Busta Rhymes, DMX and Drake. YEG To The World is a sonically sound album with 15 tracks. Tam is an extremely versatile artist, the album has a little bit for anyone. It doesn't matter if you are a fan of club style jams or lyrical wordplay, Tam touches on many styles of the art form.

Turkey’s Superstar Athlete Goes In the Studio with Snaz to Drop "YEG
To The World"
IZMIR, TURKEY – Born in Africa, raised in
Canada, and living in Turkey, superstar soccer player Tam Nsaliwa has done it
all. He was a member of Canada’s national team, he has played along other
soccer greats like Dwayne De Rosario, Owen Hargreaves and Rivaldo, and has even played for two World Cup Champions. But Tam Nsaliwa is also making big strides in
another big game… the rap game!
In
June of 2012 Tam shocked the hip hop world with the release of his debut
mixtape “BeatsAndBurgers” hosted by DJ
Green Lantern. Tam sent the mixtape to Lantern and he immediately agreed to
be a part of it and also produced one of the tracks. The mixtape created a huge
media buzz and also received radio play around the world.
Due
to his instant success, hip hop fans have been anxious with anticipation for
Tam’s next release, which is a thirteen track album entitled, “YEG To The
World”. For this album Tam called on super producer and fellow Canadian, Snaz.
Snaz is known in the industry for his work with rap’s biggest names including Busta
Rhymes, DMX, and Drake. The two superstars teamed up to
create two tracks on the album that are sure to move your body and your mind.
This
project was released after several months of anticipation from fans and a big
buzz in the media. When asked for his thoughts on the excitement from “YEG To
The World”, Tam had this to say, “I am a
man of many passions. I am blessed to have success on the soccer field but I
also love to be in the studio. Music is an important part of life as we know it,
so to have people suddenly want my work to hold that position in their lives is
a powerful feeling that I am grateful for. I put a lot of work into this album
but this is only the tip of the iceberg so I thank all the fans from music and
in sports for all of this support.”
