We just received the latest release from Seattle, WA hip hop crew Dynasty Clique. The group likes to mix comedy and progressive boom bap. I found their album very upbeat and easy to take in. This is the perfect type of album to throw on at a jam or cruising in the whip' on a hot summer day. The EP is sonically pleasing and perfect for the club, the dynamic energy of the members mesh well together. Be on the lookout!
Dynasty Clique was formed in early 2001 with the pairing of the Dynamic verbal prowess of Chase Reynolds and AC Dotterweich in Hattiesburg MS. They were very big in the local club scene and even spent a lot of time getting radio play on WSKP - Jammin' 107.7 with songs like "Hattiesburg Mississippi". During the pursuit of their educations the group fell apart and later reformed in 2006 in Seattle WA following AC to his college years at Washington State University and back into his professional life on the eastside of the state. Current Members include The Prophecy (AC Dotterweich) Trill Phil (Phillip Knight), Big Dub (Justin Dotterweich), J-Shute (Joe Shute) and PiztOff (Brandon Potter). Together they form the Dynasty Clique, a group of like minded individuals with comedic prowess, excellent acoustic deliveries, and pyritical attitudes. Their most recent album Party People has debuted to thousands of hits on youtube and has quickly built up a cult following in the American Hip Hop scene.
