Keith Murray has issued a statement on Instagram after a lackluster performance against Fredro Starr at the MCWar Battle in Brooklyn, NY over the weekend. The Def Squad rapper blamed a mixture of allergy medication and alcohol resulting in his poor performance.

What up world just wanted to drop a quick message to apologize to my fans for the battle performance. I wanted to really murder this dude but messed up trying to do too much not feeling well. I shouldn't have taken allergy meds and mixed it with a shot because we all see the results. But I wanted y'all to hear what the verses were supposed to sound like so I recorded them and put them up for free download and for those who want to know I'm up to rematch dude anytime because we all know he won by default. But no excuses I hope you guys understand and trust me I'll make it up to you because I got some heat in the works. God bless. Peace
