Born in Hungary, but based in Sweden, Arpad B. is a hip-hop artist with a fondness for tight beats and a sharp lyrical flow. His lyricism is personal and honest: his raps are inspired by his unique life experiences, including growing up throughout the world, in countries as diverse as Hungary, the States and Sweden. Currently he is gearing up to release an EP entitled "Always Get My Own".
His sound falls somewhere in between the depth and warmth of old school hip-hop, and the focus and balance of the best modern productions, with some trap influences: It’s all about tight sounding analog-style beats, lush synth lines, and samples that bring in diverse influences and colors to each track. On top of it all, his lyricism is personal and honest: his raps are inspired by his unique life experiences, including growing up throughout the world, in countries as diverse as Hungary, the States and Sweden. So much cultural variety will definitely have an impact on one’s life, and in Arpad B.’s case, his music became a way to express these kaleidoscopic influences since he started out taking the matter seriously back in 2009, but most of all, he set out to reinvent his image and lyrics with a positive attitude, as opposed to the usual clichés of the hip-hop scene.
After a few successful mixtapes, Arpad B. set out to reinvent his career, and he’s currently working on the release of a brand new EP, “Always Get My Own”, produced by long-time friend Max Million Beatz (Germany). Arpad B has a lot of passion about hip hop, we do see slight language barriers in expressing his thoughts on tracks - this does not stop his drive and his hunger. Arpad's production is on point and subject matter seems authentic. This EP was a good listen.
