Ice Cube recently spoke with the Rick Smiley Morning Show promoting his latest movie "Ride Along 2". Smiley asked Cube if the highly anticipated fourth installment to the Friday movie franchise Last Friday will ever come out. Cube responded "I know the people want it, it's just really convincing the film company New Line and Warner Bros. that they gotta spend some money to make this movie"
Late last year Tiny Lister spoke about the film stating that pre-production would start February 2016, with filming beginning in March. This information contradicts what Cube spoke on.
