A 21 year old man alleges that he was robbed by DMX (Earl Simmons) and his entourage at an Exxon gas station in Newark, NJ. The man told police that he recognized the famous rapper around 12:30 and approached him.
The alleged victim and DMX had a brief conversation about hip hop and during the conversation a member of DMX’s entourage showed the victim a gun and demanded money. The victim states he had $3200 cash snatched from his hand by DMX, before him and his entourage escaped in a black Cadillac Escalade.
The alleged victim tailgated the rappers SUV and proceeded to write down the license plate. The investigation is in progress from the New Jersey Police Department.
