I rarely receive music from the great state of Nebraska, so this is a first for me. L Oquence is the great grandson of blues legend Wynonie Harris and plans to keep the family music legacy alive. The Omaha native blends electro pop and heavy synth backdrops with often witty lyrics. This is a cross between 2000's Anticon and new age catchy pop. It's definitely a unique style which works well this electro hip hop artist. The album is mapped out well with high energy and eventually fades into more slow paced reflection type tracks.
