Marvel Comics pays tribute to hip hop classics

Marvel is set to release comic books paying homage to some of hip hop's biggest albums this October. We will see comic book variants inspired by Wu Tang Clan, Tribe Called Quest, Eric B & Rakim, Ol' Dirty Bastard, Lauryn Hill, Tyler The Creator, Dr. Dre, 50 Cent and Notorious B.I.G. 

"For years, Marvel Comics and hip-hop culture have been engaged in an ongoing dialogue," stated Marvel's Editor in Chief Alex Alonso. "Beginning this October, we will shine a spotlight on the seamless relationship between those two unique forces.”

Expect these to be flying off the shelf once released in October.
